Algemene voorwaarden (NL)

Jamio is een platform om muzikanten in Nederland aan elkaar te koppelen voor jamsessies. Door een account aan te maken ga je akkoord met deze voorwaarden.

1. Account

Je hebt een geldig e-mailadres nodig en moet 16 jaar of ouder zijn. Eén account per persoon. Geen pseudoniemen om iemand anders na te doen.

2. Acceptabel gebruik

Doe vooral wel:

  • Plaats jamsessies en doe mee met die van anderen.
  • Communiceer respectvol met andere muzikanten.

Doe vooral niet:

  • Spam, intimidatie, haatzaaien, illegale of seksuele content.
  • Doen alsof je iemand anders bent.
  • Pogingen om de site te hacken, scrapen of overbelasten.
  • Commerciële promotie zonder toestemming.

We kunnen accounts schorsen of verwijderen die deze regels schenden, zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving.

3. Jouw content

Wat jij plaatst — sessies, foto's, opmerkingen, berichten — blijft van jou. Je geeft Jamio een niet-exclusieve licentie om die content te tonen, op te slaan, en via de share-functies door te sturen, voor zover nodig om het platform te laten werken.

4. Geen garanties, eigen risico

Jamio is een platform om muzikanten te verbinden — niet de organisator van fysieke sessies. Wat er tijdens een jam gebeurt is tussen jou en de andere deelnemers. Sessies vinden plaats op eigen risico. We geven geen garanties op beschikbaarheid, kwaliteit van matches, of het gedrag van andere gebruikers.

5. Stoppen

Je kunt je account altijd verwijderen via het profiel-scherm of door een mail te sturen naar hello@jamio.nl. Wij kunnen accounts beëindigen bij overtreding van deze voorwaarden.

6. Wijzigingen

We kunnen deze voorwaarden aanpassen. Bij grote wijzigingen sturen we een mail naar je geregistreerde adres. Doorgaan met gebruik na een wijziging betekent dat je akkoord gaat met de nieuwe versie.

7. Toepasselijk recht

Op deze voorwaarden is Nederlands recht van toepassing. Geschillen worden voorgelegd aan de bevoegde rechter in Nederland.

Terms of service (EN)

Jamio is a platform for connecting musicians in the Netherlands for jam sessions. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. Account

You need a valid email address and must be 16 years or older. One account per person. No pseudonyms to impersonate someone else.

2. Acceptable use

Please do:

  • Post jam sessions and join others.
  • Communicate respectfully with other musicians.

Please don't:

  • Spam, harass, post hate speech, illegal or sexual content.
  • Impersonate other people.
  • Try to hack, scrape, or overload the site.
  • Commercial promotion without permission.

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules, without prior notice.

3. Your content

What you post — sessions, photos, comments, messages — stays yours. You grant Jamio a non-exclusive licence to display, store, and share that content via the share features, as needed to operate the platform.

4. No warranties, your own risk

Jamio is a platform that connects musicians — not the organiser of physical sessions. What happens at a jam is between you and the other participants. Sessions are at your own risk. We make no warranties about availability, match quality, or the behaviour of other users.

5. Termination

You can delete your account anytime via the profile screen or by emailing hello@jamio.nl. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. For significant changes we'll email your registered address. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
